Prospective Graduate Students

I am eager to build a lab group of motivated and productive wildlife ecologists and conservation biologists. However, I will not accept graduate students without funding to support them. Funding opportunities either occur via teaching assistantships or research assistantships.

Please contact me by email if you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree under my direction. In the email, please include a brief description of your research interests, your CV, and an example of your writing.

I encourage students to read these posts here, and here prior to sending me an email.

SFA is unique in that for a university of 13,000 students, there are three faculty members with research foci involving amphibians and reptiles. For more information on our academic and research programs as well as the resources available for students, please read our recent Institutional Profile here.
